This site is dedicated to two individuals who were destined to me.  Kanna, an assassin looking for work, and Cort, a bartender who just happened to be working the Silver Star Tavern that night. 

 

     She had walked in, seeing that it was just Cort, another man, and a woman who just so happened to be the other man's slave.  An altercation had occurred between the two men and Cort had his hand on his sword, ready for the other man (she had found out a few days later, through her tactics, that his name was Artemis).  Artemis was about to draw his weapon until she "accidently" interrupted, saying she needed something.  Cort dismissed him and then went to see what Kanna had wanted.

 

     Now she had noticed that he indeed knew how to use a weapon so she questioned him about it.  Cort didn't take his hand off of his sword; he answered her questions and eyed her warily.  She then chuckled and told him to relax.  Kanna smiled and let down her cocky attitude, actually talking to him on level.  After a while, they both had to take her leave.

 

     She would continue to visit this place called Dasani Port, just to go talk to Cort.  Then one day, he took her outside to talk to her about something.  She, being the anxious one, thought it was about a job.  But to her surprise, it was something better:  Cort asked her to be a couple with him.  Of course she accepted and here they are today, happy as they can be.
